Seven Stars in Kyushu + Fukuoka | Part 1 | Japan Trip Report
We got a spot on the luxury sightseeing cruise train Seven Stars in Kyushu! Amanda and I travel from New York’s JFK airport to Fukuoka (via Haneda) on JAL’s brand new business class offering. We spend a couple of sweltering days in Fukuoka at the Miyako Hotel Hakata eating and drinking before being met at the hotel by a staff member from the cruise train Seven Stars in Kyushu (ななつ星ｉｎ九州). Onboard we make geta, eat a lot of excellent meals, and tour a 400 year old satsuma-ware factory; The Chin Jukan Kiln. Along the way we make various station stops covering Fukuoka, Oita, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima prefectures. This is the first of two videos!
